The serene Chain O’Lakes State Park was aptly named. Here, you can paddle through a chain of nine inter-connected kettle lakes, hike 23 miles of forested trails, fish (electric-motors-only), and visit the Stanley School, a one-room schoolhouse located inside the park, and an interpretive nature center. Other park amenities include a campground, beach, fish-cleaning house, and picnic shelters. Watercraft and bike rentals are available seasonally, too.

After you've worked up an appetite and thirst, drive a short four miles to Albion and enjoy the offerings around the historic courthouse square!

Fill up at the Albion Ale House, home of Guessworks Brewing Company. Located just south of the square, the Ale House offers twelve of their own craft beers on tap, a full bar, and delicious food!
