This family-owned and operated farm grows a beautiful array of flowers. Here you can purchase annual baskets, planters, potted perennials, vegetable starts, and fresh veggies! For more locally grown foods, visit our local summer markets, too! Accessibility features include: Wayfinding assistance, accessible parking, pedestrian pathways, service animals allowed.
Stone's Trace Tavern

Step back in time at Stone's Tavern and learn about the life of early American settlers and pioneers. Their annual festival, Hearthside Dinner, and summer workshops make Stone's Trace a great place to learn and explore history. Available for weddings, parties, family events, and more. The grounds are open to the public from April 27th to November 2nd. For more information, ask for a Site Rental Agreement, and contact Janet Sweeney at 260-856-2666. Accessibility features include: Venue guides and wayfinding, accessible parking, service animals allowed, mobility device accessibility in most areas. Please note, some steps are present at historic building entrances and grounds pose a moderate walking challenge through mowed lawns. The firing of guns and cannons is routine during the annual pioneer festival.
Sweet Church Community Center & Cemetery
Albion
Sweet Church was built in 1875 and was named after James Sweet who donated the land it was built on. In 2001, after years of sitting abandoned, the building was purchased by a group from the farming community and restored. The building now offers event space, pickleball and volleyball courts, and children's play equipment.

Sylvan Cellars Event Center
Rome City
Once listed as one of the top 10 most endangered historical landmarks in Indiana, this restored barn is now an event center and tasting room that boasts 30-foot high gabled ceilings, chandeliers and the original salvaged stained wood floors. This space is perfect for company parties, weddings and live bands. Accessibility features include: Accessible parking, accessible seating accommodations, elevator lift, mobility device accessibility. Please note, mobility device accessibility is limited in second floor event space. Lower level amenities are more spacious.
Sylvan Lake Improvement Association (SLIA)

The Sylvan Lake Improvement Association (SLIA), is nestled in the picturesque Rome City, IN. Sylvan Lake, renowned as Indiana's most beloved lake and the cherished home of Gene Stratton-Porter, serves as the heart of our community. SLIA is a dedicated non-profit organization comprising civic-minded homeowners committed to enhancing Sylvan Lake. Our mission is to preserve and promote Sylvan Lake as the premier destination in Indiana for water-based recreation such as skiing, fishing, boating, swimming, and more.
