Baker Hall at the Windmill Museum

Baker Hall is named in honor of C. Russell Baker, one of the original founders of the Kendallville Windmill Museum and Historical Society. A popular local venue for gatherings available for reservation year round, the facility offers 6,000sf of space that can accommodate up to 350 people.
Bender's Orchard

Albion
Bender’s Orchard was established in 1987 near Wolf Lake, IN. Our orchard is in a beautiful setting with a self-serve refrigerator out front. We offer 30+ varieties of Apples and Asian Pears. U-pick Asian pears are popular, and you will enjoy the orchard walk. Our orchard practices integrative pest control. So if an area of the orchard needs to be addressed, we address it. We always follow Purdue's recommendations.
Bixler Park

Kendallville
Bixler Lake Park surrounds the 117-acre lake, providing unique opportunities for outdoor recreation and education. Circling the lake are a pedestrian walkway and nature trail with observation platforms perfect for observing wildlife. Six open-air pavilions are available for reservation and numerous playgrounds provide fun for children. Fishing, boating, and swimming are popular activities. Kayaks are available for rent through the Bixler Lake Campground office (seasonal; call 260-242-6898.) Other facilities include a lighted softball field, campground, tennis courts and basketball courts.
Black Pine Animal Sanctuary

Albion
Professional Animal Retirement Center (PARC), Inc., known locally as Black Pine Animal Sanctuary in Albion, Indiana provides refuge to nearly 90 displaced, captive-raised exotic animals for the REST of their lives. They offer a variety of educational programs to enhance one's knowledge of exotic and endangered species, and to encourage responsible pet ownership. Animal residents include big and small cats, canines, bears, primates, birds, reptiles, and more. Accessibility amenities include: accessible parking, wayfinding, electronic bookings, interpretive services, paved pathways, mobility device accessibility, accessible restrooms.
Chain O'Lakes State Park

Albion
As a small boater's paradise and hiker's haven, Chain O' Lakes state park consists of miles of hiking trails and 13 lakes, 9 of which are inter-connected. Paddle through the chain of serene kettle lakes, hike the 29 miles of forested trails, fish the electric-motors-only lakes, stay overnight in a forested hillside family cabin, or visit the park’s historic one-room Stanley Schoolhouse or the Nature Center centrally located at Sand Lake. Other facilities available for visitors to enjoy include a campground, beach and picnic shelters. Accessibility features include: mobility device checkout available at Main Office, maps and wayfinding services, accessible parking areas, accessible seating areas, pedestrian pathways, mobility device accessibility areas, service animals allowed. Stanley Schoolhouse provides ramps for accessibility.
